General Acupuncture/Sport injury acupuncture

General Acupuncture is the use of very fine, one time disposable sterilized needle, placing thin needles into the skin of certain acupoints to balance the “qi”气 energy in the body through the meridians. Imagine the meridians act like expressway, when there is blockage in the body it may cause pain. The acupuncture acts like a strong wind to unblock the traffic jam in the expressway so to allow energy to flow smoothly. Another analogy is when the needle insert to the balloon, the balloon start to deflate and that is one of the ways how “qi” energy reflow smoothly.

Herbal Medicine

There is a wider medical system known as Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes Chinese herbal medicine as one of its treatment components. Herbs are given in order to restore energy balance to the opposing forces of energy, Yin and Yang, which are energetic energies that pass via channels in the body that are physically unseen.

Herbal medicine can be as simple as the rice we eat, or in the form of branches, leaves, flowers, seeds, minerals, shells, animals, etc. To keep in pace with the modern society, these herbs have processed into powder or tablet for ease of consumption.
